~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~·What’s something you believe everyone should know.
How shall I word my option? Two words come to mind instantly. Hope and Prayer.
Why these two? Believe me, I have thought this out and personally experienced the power therein to live on earth yet not of earth, not succumbing to its limitation as others may expect as norm.
Not only to ward off the negative impacts of the world as we know it, hope and prayers bring forth positive expectations that often actually come to pass against all odds. They have never failed me though sometimes I have to wait with patience and clarity in my spirit with the assurance of the words of God as confirmation.
Hope and prayers work hand in hand with our faith. Without faith it is impossible to expect any outcome from the supernatural realm to manifest in the physical realm.
Being a Christian I believe in the Creator God (our Father in heaven), Jesus Christ (our Savior and Lord) and the Holy Spirit (who gives power).
I also have a manual book, the Bible, which I read daily and pray with, and find assurance, confirmation, direction and reply for my prayers.
Faith brings me to hope. Hope comes from my relationship with a living God. reading His words and praying build and strengthen y relationship with God.
There are many examples in the Bible of how hope and prayers are practiced. Here are some verses of how Jesus and His apostles themselves lived a more than conquerors lifestyle based on these two important keys to access the divine realm for everything they needed on earth.
Our Father in heaven is more than pleased to give us just as He has promised. Hope in Him and prayers according to His Spirit’s prompt, based on His words (His will), will never fail.
Some Bible verses about prayer
Matthew 26:41 When the Lord Jesus was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, he called his disciples to watch and pray as well.
41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. Though the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 The apostle Paul exhorts believers to pray without ceasing.
17 Prayer without ceasing.
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 Peter 4:7 Serving for God’s Glory
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
1 John 5:14 Confidence and Compassion in Prayer
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
以下是这位“悼词”博主在评论区回复一条评论时说的一段话:“最让我悲伤的是——除非有人保存下来/守护/让它活着,否则他的所有作品都将消失。这不过是我为守护他给我们的礼物所尽的微薄之力。” “That’s what grieves me the most – that all his work will be lost unless someone keeps it alive. This is my small part but in preserving his gift to us.”
Very important. It’s my real life. Why? I believe in eternal life. I am a spirit with a soul living in a body. The body is a temporary abode and will one day be discarded. The only incorruptible part is the spirit with the soul. The spirit is born of God in His image for eternity. When the body has completed its usefulness, the spirit will return to God the Creator Father. Never to part again.
What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
The answer is the same as that to the question “What are the most important things needed to live a good life? 在地上活出美好生命最重要的事”. When you have someone to love, you will want to live long together with them. On the other hand, living long will not factor in a life with no one to love. That’s why a prolonged grief over the loss of an only loved one is always the most difficult emotion to overcome and some have taken a whole lifetime.
Please be consoled that all is still not lost if you are in that stage of life, having no one to love, or having lost your only loved one. In coping I look not at the vast empty canvas of the remains of my future decades or even centuries if man still lives that long.
I look daily with meditation at a new page of blank lines on my note book and fill it as I live for the day, with a starting sentence and a finishing sentence. Some days it’s just writing down the time and date. Some days the writing spills over to the next few pages. It does not matter how you fill it. What you write is the essential food to your soul. Write what you live.
You may ask, “does it work?”
With meditation and prayers, talking to God, reading His words, and hearing Him, I have improved in spirit, soul and body by the end of a year of grief. The presence of God in my life has restored the meaning of living.
What has this got to do with long life? Plenty. In fact, the whole. Living long is a heart matter. An attitude. When you are given the gift of longevity, do not waste it no matter how you feel. Ask yourself, why not?
Yes, we may be sad about the way events, people we love, and things turn out not what we have believed and expected in the first place, but it’s not yet the end of our world.
Having long life has a significant advantage because you can see how the future of mankind turns out. Of course you need a lion heart to sustain the shocks at man’s inventions and the increasing speed of changes and the adaptations future man needs to practice to survive.
For an individual who believes in an eternal life after death, time on earth is temporal. The years we use to measure the length of life really means nothing by the time we get to heaven.
Thoughts to ponder: But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8
Without junk food, people can go back to normal and healthy living, e.g. not sitting for hours in front of a screen watching stuff they watch only because of the convenience of the junk food. They will have to turn to talking with family and friends, going outdoor and walk, reading a book, learning something, building something and planting something, sleeping, and waking up according to their biological clock. The money saved can be used to take their family for vacations and treat them quality meals. Imagine the vast improvement in their personal and family life.
It is to have someone you love. This is the meaning of my life that I finally understand after living for most of my life. A life can be long or short, depending on whether you have someone you love. If you have someone you love, you will find that time is not enough, and you will cherish every day and every moment together; even if you live an ordinary life, you will see shining souls and experience significant miracles again and again. Love is a miracle. I love, so I exist. When all else fail, love never fails, it remains, forever.
